Rosalie Cress is a lawyer, investigator, and advisor, dedicated to fostering and maintaining safe and healthy workplaces. Rosalie has extensive experience in all aspects of workplace law and a passion for helping organizations improve their workplace culture.
Rosalie received her law degree from the University of Victoria in 2005 and was called to the Bar in British Columbia in 2006. Rosalie has worked in labour and employment law for over 17 years, both in private practice and as in-house counsel for a publicly traded corporation. Immediately prior to joining SBP, Rosalie worked in a senior leadership role at a public sector employers’ association, where she established and led the organization’s first legal services team. Rosalie has a demonstrated record as a trusted, thoughtful advisor who develops and maintains constructive relationships at all levels of an organization and with partner organizations and unions. She has provided strategic advice on a wide range of workplace matters, including labour and employment law, collective bargaining, human rights, occupational health and safety, privacy, and governance.
