Elichai joined SBP in 2023 after practicing as a lawyer at one of Canada’s top employment and labour boutiques for nearly 15 years, the last 6 years as a partner.
During that time, Elichai conducted a wide range of workplace investigations, including investigating allegations of sexual harassment, bullying, racism, retaliation and breaches of a union’s constitution and by-laws.
Elichai brings experience as a litigator to his role at SBP, having previously litigated numerous cases before arbitrators, administrative tribunals, all levels of court in Ontario, under federal jurisdiction and the Supreme Court of Canada.
Elichai obtained his LL.B. from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2007, where he was awarded the Robert W. Kerr Labour Law Prize for excellence in this area of study.
He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2008 and the British Columbia Bar in 2023.

Elichai conducts workplace investigations into complaints of sexual harassment, bullying and harassment, discrimination, workplace violence, conflicts of interest, privacy violations, hostile work environments, and other policy breaches. He understands the need to conduct a workplace investigation as quickly and discreetly as possible, while still ensuring a thorough process. He also understands the complexities of workplace relationships and the importance of producing clear and fair investigation reports based on sound evidence that are useful in the event of litigation or arbitration. Above all else, Elichai is reliable, thoughtful and well-reasoned.
