Andi Sheasby was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2013 after receiving their undergraduate degree in Government and International Relations from Cornell University and their law degrees (common and civil) from McGill University. They are fluent (and pleased to provide services) in French and have professional proficiency in Spanish.
Andi has completed the following training in 2024: Mediation and Conflict Management certification course from Harvard Law School Executive Education, Mental Health First Aid from the Mental Health Commission of Canada, and Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy from the Embody Lab.
Based in the Okanagan, Andi maintains a separate career as a visual artist and writer.

Andi is a lawyer and investigator with a broad advisory and transactional background, rooted in a trauma-informed approach. Andi has experience in conducting investigations in the public and private sectors, for both federally and provincially regulated workplaces. They have conducted investigations in various sectors, including health care, sports, and education settings with both youth and adults. They have conducted workplace investigations involving allegations such as sexual assault, sexual harassment, discrimination, and bullying and harassment.
Andi was previously a partner at a large national law firm, where they provided advice on general business matters, corporate transactions, and financial services to clients. They have experience helping people of all walks of life craft and negotiate various kinds of complex agreements.
Andi’s trauma-informed approach is grounded in their personal and professional experiences. They have a keen interest in healthy workplaces and pride themselves on being approachable, practical, and authentic.
