Raema Quam is a lawyer, investigator, and facilitator who responds to workplace issues and conflicts with clarity, compassion, and fairness. She has a Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia (2017) and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Victoria (2002) with a specialization in anti-oppressive and trauma-informed practice. Raema was called to the Bar in 2018.

Prior to joining SBP, Raema worked as a lawyer at a boutique labour and employment law firm and in house in labour relations at a large public institution. She has in-depth experience in organizational management and has worked in the non-profit and private sectors, including developing programs for sexually exploited youth and evaluating mental health services. Throughout her career, Raema has advised clients on complex workplace conflicts, including human rights matters .
She has completed training in mediation, conflict resolution, and leadership, including a nine-month postgraduate Coro Fellowship in Public Affairs.
